About Our Customers...
Herdis & Tinna, Iceland
Our Customers are located in all parts of the world. It is really quite fascinating! How do we find each other?
Luck? Karma? Google? Or maybe some kind of cosmic combination. I am always amazed when a new customer finds us, and
it inspires me to do my best to keep them satisfied and coming back for more.
Who is our typical customer? Mostly small to mid-size businesses. Often people trying to make a few bucks (or pounds!) on the side,
and the occassional seasoned executive looking to start a new livelihood that will be less
stressfull. Herdis has a lovely shop in Reykevic, Iceland (I would love to visit some day) where she and Tinna sell crystals,
jewelry and gifts. She has been procuring our line for about 2 years and apparently Icelanders really dig the jewelry, especially our pendants
and earrings.

We strive to give our customers what they need. We don't require a minimum order and offer the same low prices to all our wholesale customers. We recognize that many of our customers
are just getting started and try to give them an edge up on the competition. Caroline started out selling on ebay - mainly 9ct gold and sterling silver sourced from UK wholesalers, but in such
a crowded marketplace she was looking for something a little bit different to stand out from the rest. She told me:
I found that something different when I first found silvergemshop. It was the
first time I had made an international order and I was a little dubious as I didn’t
know how long delivery would take or the quality of the jewellery, but I needn’t have
worried, delivery to the UK takes less than a week and the quality is good. I have found
that most items sell fast and I get good feedback from my customers. From a business that
started small as a way to maybe make a little money and fill in time whilst I was
concentrating on my main line of work, I now have a business which has expanded and
given me a great deal of pleasure. Hopefully I will soon have my own eshop selling
jewellery, eBay is a good place to learn, and gave me time to source good and reliable
suppliers ready for the next stage.

We have "brick and mortar" customers as well. I have to admit, the trade shows provide us with stiff competition, but as retailers
have become more comfortable purchasing online, we have built up our brick and mortar clientelle over the past couple years.
We supply the same quality products you would find at a trade show, but its so much easier! Plus you can send back whatever you don't like.
One good way to get started in the jewelry business, according to several of our custromers, is to utilize consignment shops and boutiques and sell
at the local flea market. Craft shows are also profitable. These are all low-cost ways to break into the market. You can
start off small with little financial risk. Want to start off with a $30 order? NO problem!
